Weight loss advice!!?

hi, i was just wondering if i could get an estimation on how long it will take me to lose a stone. Recently i cut out carbs and basically ate yoghurt, omlette and salad for a week and i lost 3 lbs, but i gained it back when i reintroduced carbs, so this time i am taking a different approach- if i cut out white carbs, eat plenty of vegetables and fruit, go to a (sweat inducing) aerobics cl once a week as well as going jogging once a week and to the gym once a week, how long will it take me to lose 14lbs? I know everyone's body is different so i'm just looking for an estimate- also if anyone has any weight loss tips that's be great

My concern would be that your incision site did not heal well or properly and that it may rupture during labor or delivery. You don't mention how long it has been since baby #3 was born. I would go with a c-section and make it clear that you suffered from an infection the last time. Your doctor would most likely put you on prophylactic antibiotics for at least a week prior to the c-section or give you I.V. antibiotics during and after the birth, (provided you had a bacterial infection). Antibiotics are ineffective against viral infections. During a c-section it is easy to have your tubes cut and tied so that you do not get pregnant again since you have had a few different problems with your pregnancies and births. Tongue tied infant and feeding?

My 9 week old is feeding but it is still not as comfortable as I think it should be. I occasionally get a clear blister on my nipple but then it goes away after a few days (from friction or too much suction?) feeding isn't too bad during the day but by evening it gets more painful. I was wondering how to tell if tongue tied is affecting feeding/latch. I asked his Ped this morning at his visit if he is tongue tied and he said its too early to tell for sure. My son is gaining weight well (25th to 40th% now) but I was just looking for any tips to make feeding more comfortable. I know I can see a lactation consultant- I am a OB RN and work with them- and I know about tongue clipping. I was just looking for something I could use right now if anyone has experienced this.

Working out excessively?

I'm a heavy athlete as I am constantly busy with school and sports. On average, i do about 2 hours a day of physical activity, 2 hours of sports, and lift weights for 1.5 hours. Now, I want to start doing P90x Ab Ripper and i know it's bad if you over train muscles but if I was to do it once a day, would that be too strenuous on me instead then once every two days? I also take a protein shake and 25g of Glutamine a day.

I had a couple rotties that had parvo and they did come through it. Stayed at the vets office for a week with IV's running through them but they did make it. Once at home had to cook hamburger and rice for a while. My vet told me that Parvo was 10 times worse than the worst stomach virus I could imagine. Just get them to the VET immediately.

I shop, visit family and friends, go to a bookstore to read...I do whatever I want and return around 6 to finish dinner. On a good night, my house is vacated by 8 and the deal is on Monday night, he can watch the game but NO friends are allowed over. Let him have his football and use the time wisely to have yourself some fun or relaxation time. You might actually begin to like football season.

Impossible Hard Water Stains?

I have rust/hard water stains in my toilet (well water) that will not go away with anything (tried CLR, and all that) except denture tablets. The problem is that the stain has to sit in the water for 15 minutes and the stains go up well above the water level in the toilet. Swishing the water up onto the stains doesn't help since it has to actually sit in the water, so the only thing I can think of is to purposely stop up the toilet, but I'm not sure how to do that on purpose (please don't suggest a really disgusting way of doing this, as I will have to plunge the toilet later!). Does anyone know how I can fill the toilet with WATER ONLY so that I can get the denture stuff to sit on the stain long enough AND I will be able to unclog the toilet later without causing damage? Is there another way to do this without having to stop up the toilet?

Use up or bail out the salt. Clean with a broom. A new toilet brush works good. Change your brand of salt. sounds like you'r using solar salt. Bought a racehorse for a pet (no longer racing) - safe to place in forest/shrub/bush land?

Im in Australia. I just bought a racehorse who stopped racing only 7 days ago. We have acreage but it is bushland. With trees fallen down. Stumps etc. Would it be unsafe for the horse to be placed in there as it may have trouble with all the logs etc and trip or fall over them? Maybe try running fast and or not see them? Having a problem with l odor, even after washing! How to fix & whats the best material underwear to wear?

Okay, im 16 and Ive had a slight l odor for a good year now. Ive been to the doctor and was told I have absolutely no infections or anything. I wash with water and a very mild soap, as I know strong scented things can mess with the pH balance. Ive never douche or anything of that nature. Why does my have an odor? I wash at least once a day and the area is almost completely shaven so the hair isnt collecting odors and sweat. I bought a new fridge on Sept 12, 2009. On Oct 6, I left for a 3 week vacation. On Oct 8th, the power company negligently (without any reason) disconnected my power. I quit smoking cigs and weed a few months ago, how long before my lungs will start to come around?

I'm 20, and I was never a big cig smoker, off and on since my senior year in high school. I was however a rather large pothead. I smoked weed almost everyday to every other day for years, usually in the amount of a blunt or two a day. A blunt is anywhere from 1.0-2.0 grams of weed. I stopped smoking altogether about a month or two ago because I am going into the Navy relatively soon, I'd say about 4-6 months before I ship out for Basic Training. I have been running on a regular basis and eat well and keep hydrated and all that, but I still get winded after a mile or so of steady jogging. I can't help but think that the damage from smoking has left me crippled in some way. I have heard that the damage will go away slowly after a few months and years, but can anyone tell me if I will be ok?! I am not an idiot, I understand that smoking in general is not healthy, my question is given the amount I have smoked, will I be ok if I keep up my running and healthy diet?

MY POINT IS THIS: Why would anyone pay the same price or more to use such a slow mode of transportation? I have a 4 year old pure breed Bengal cat that has not been eating on his own for about 2 weeks. I had gradually changed his food about a month ago and he liked it. We took him to the vet and the x-rays, blood work and physical exam all check out as normal. He had tapeworm which I gave him deworming medicine about 1.5 weeks ago for. Now we are force feeding him the Hills prescription food AD and he is on Reglan and two other antibiotics. We also took him in for fluid and vitamin injections and still no change. Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

They are doing very well, I use to winter them in at night and out during the day. Should I cut them back and cover them with mulch or leave them be. Something in the plot was that they were there to study for SATs or something, and all of the kids started dying. I'm dangerously close to hating my own siblings, what should I do?

I'm 20 years old and living at home and going to college. I have a 17 year old sister and 14 year old brother who have made it things impossible for our mother. Our mom is a single mom and has been for years because our father was a flake and abusive when he was around. I get that they act out because they are teenagers and dealing with teenage stuff, but they've seem to put their crosshairs on my mom. The things they say are appalling and without merit. It's more than an "I hate you" or a curse word here or there, they really treat her in the worst way. It's gotten to the point where they yell at her 3-4 times a day. I've held myself back and kept my cool for as long as I could because she's told me to, but I've realized that I've never known more horrible people than them two. I've talked to them both tirelessly when they're not in their selfish angry mindset, but it's to no avail. I told myself this is just a phase, but it's been going on for years, and I'm beginning to see that this is them at their core despite everything we've been taught when my mom raised us. Also you will need at least one or two good backstories or subplots to keep the whole thing going. And by all means, make sure the book is a stand alone. No publisher is going to buy a trilogy from a new and untested author. They are going to buy ONE book. If it tanks, they don't owe you two more. Of course, if it is a hit, you have more bargaining power for the other two and can get more money for them. Never use the word "series" to a publisher or agent, it scares them away. Pax-C

I am a 22 year old female who for the past two weeks has been getting feelings of Deja vu and then im ping out, when i come round, im fine and remember everything, but i do have a sore head and i am tired, twice while sitting and once while standing.
