Virginia Commonwealth University?
Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is one of the state school of VA, and is an urban campus in downtown Richmond. Contrary to the other answer, it is NOT one of the better Universities in VA. VCU's reputation is as a commuter school and diploma mill, although they have made recent strides in biological sciences programs. Within the Commonwealth, there are vastly superior computer science and computer engineering programs at the University of Virginia (Charlottesville) and Virginia Tech (Blacksburg), and both William and Mary (Williamsburg) and George Mason (Fairfax) have respected computer science programs. Because these are all state institutions, the tuition at each is approximately the same. A degree from any of these four institutions will be much more valuable, in terms of gaining employment after graduation. Good luck!
