most definitely wrong. at the most you could've thrown the ball back in a non-voilent manner but so it hurt him. even that's wrong but u can't go up and punch a 13yr old. i can tell u one thing, me and no-one i know would ever have a relationship with someone who hit a kid. plain and simple fact that if u hit a kid once you're likely to be one of those guys who abuse their kids.
