Will he change his mind?

Friday,I asked my guy friend if he wanted to go out with me he said no and he thinks if we should just be long tern friends but he says he does like me and has been :( I'm so trying to get over him but I cant ... Is it tru guys come back and change there mind? Idk what to do and I really need some advice he's around all these other girls at school and I only see him once a week. :( any ideas on how to change his mind and rethink his answer I know I have to be patient ! I want to Impress him!
