I need help. I no longer see the point of living a social life. I want to start over again with everything.?

For one thing you have to start liking you. If you don't like you, how do you expect any else to. All you are going to do by acting like something you are not, is destroy who you are. When someone said get away before you rub off on me, they were right. In other words, they are probably battling insecurities themselves and do not wish to have that battle enhanced. Listening to you complain probably reminds them of there own problems. I don't know if complain is the right term to use, but you know what I mean. These falsehoods you admit to, create a wall between you and them. You might not think so but, I'm sure they have some indication that you are not being truthful. And this alienates you. You are not one of them, you are made up. How can they be close to someone they don't even know. Falsehoods make it look like you are trying to look better than them. Just be you. And don't ruin your life by trying be somebody else. It's going to be alright. I promise.
