How to get rid of British flag?

Recently purchased a 2005 Mini Cooper for resale and I want to remove the huge British flag off of the roof. I got it off of ebay motors and dont know how they are affixed (have'nt picked it up yet.) Is anyone familiar with these things? Are they vinyl overlays, or should I go ahead and get an appointment at the paint shop?
