If I'm not mistaken, Aircraft includes rotary wing (helicopters). Small arms fire, mid-air collisions, crashes during sandstorms while on mission - these will contribute mightily to your statistics. Also consider that "lost" aircraft could be as simple as a helo being damaged by ground fire, safely landed, the crew is safely evac'd but the bird is unable to be retrieved, so we render it unusable to the enemy.
