Contraceptive implant HELP? can it change your personality?

im 16 and my mum wants me to go either on the implant or pill, we're both swaying more towards the implant as im quiet forgetful and with GCSE's coming up i might be quiet distracted to take it :/ but i've heard from various people that the implant can change your personality o.O and im just wondering if this is a rumour or true SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!?
